Tarabai was trained by Michael Hawkes who thought she was a genuine Group horse. She has since retired to become a broodmare. Tarabai is out of a Listed winner and Group 3 placed mare by Exceed And Excel. She is a half sister to Cornrow who is multiple times placed in Group 1 races. Grant Bloodstock in association with the Newgate syndicate bought her half brother by Written Tycoon at the sales for $650000. Tarabai is visiting for her first mating, Brazen Beau this year.
